Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has made a significant move to bolster its coaching staff, announcing the appointment of Cedric Kaze as assistant coach. The Burundian tactician reunites with head coach Nabi, with whom he previously worked at Tanzanian outfit Yanga.

Kaze replaces Fernando da Cruz and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. His familiarity with Nabi’s methods and their proven partnership promise to enhance the team’s performance.

“Coach Cedric has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the game throughout his coaching career,” said Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr. “His familiarity with coach Nabi’s methods and their proven partnership will be invaluable as we aim for excellence on the pitch.”

The move is expected to inject new life into the team, particularly as Kaizer Chiefs seeks to end its cup drought. Fans will eagerly anticipate Kaze’s influence on the team’s strategy and gameplay. Kaze’s debut on the bench comes this Saturday against Supersport United in the Carling Knockout.
