MIGHTY BUCS TEEN RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG REACHES 50TH APPEARANCE

Orlando Pirates' wonderkid, Relebohile Mofokeng, etched his name in the record books as he marked his 50th official appearance for the Mighty Buccaneers in the recent final at a sold-out Moses Mabhida Stadium.

At just 19 years old, Mofokeng's impressive resume already boasts an array of accolades, including two MTN8 and two Nedbank Cup gold medals. His outstanding performances earned him the DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season and Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament awards last season.

"Reaching 50 games at 19 is remarkable, especially considering his promotion to the senior team only last year," stated Orlando Pirates. "Mofokeng's progress is a testament to his dedication and talent."

Mofokeng's impressive stats, 50 games, 9 goals, and 11 assists at just 19.

Mofokeng's impact extends beyond club football. With three Bafana Bafana caps already, he has secured a spot in Hugo Broos' 23-man squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON Qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville.

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Memela, expressed his admiration for Mofokeng, saying, "I just pray and hope this boy leaves South Africa as soon as possible" in an interview with Goal, hinting at the teenager's immense potential and potential overseas opportunities.

As Mofokeng continues to shine, fans eagerly anticipate his next move, both domestically and internationally.
