Kaizer Chiefs Cruise Past AmaZulu FC

AmaZulu hosted Kaizer Chiefs at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday, 25 September evening, in a highly anticipated and sold out DStv Premiership clash.

The match got off to an electrifying start as Kaizer Chiefs broke the deadlock through Ranga Chivaviro’s second attempt, sending the visiting fans into raptures. Sirino doubled the lead with an absolute beauty of a goal, leaving the Chiefs faithful in utter jubilation.

Inácio Miguel sealed the deal with a towering header, giving Chiefs a commanding 3-0 lead within 25 minutes. AmaZulu pulled one back through Etiosa Ighodaro shortly after the break, but Chiefs remained in control. Riaan Hanamub’s pinpoint cross found Moremi at the far post, only to see his effort ricochet off the crossbar.

AmaZulu continued to push for another goal, but the crossbar denied them again, securing Chiefs’ 3-1 victory. Inácio Miguel’s impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
