The business world today is competitive. It’s full of fierce, educated, and motivated people, especially young people. For some people it’s tough to rise to the top and for some it comes much easier.

Chido Sasha Mucheche was naïve too much to start her business during the first implementation of lockdown March 2020. She started her business in April 2020. She runs her business at Soshanguve block vv extension 5.

Her family liked the first taste of her doughnuts from the get go which motivated her to embark the business.
“It wasn’t easy, it was tough which made me to post about my business on my media platforms, with the aim to get comments, opinions and also customers,” said Miss Mucheche.

She added that because of loadshedding, sometimes it happens that she can’t bake and loses profit. The local residence at block vv Soshanguve extension 5 supported her, they bought her doughnuts. Sometimes she would bake until midnight and sometimes loadshedding spoiled her baking which forced her to wait until electricity comes back.

She started selling them R5.00 and as time passed she increased the price. She was patient to learn different recipes. She wanted to sell doughnuts that taste different. Social media platforms such as YouTube helped her to learn those different recipes.

She recognises the supports people of Soshanguve showed her. She thanks God for giving her such an amazing talent.
Eva Mucheche who stays at Soshanguve block vv said, “The doughnuts testes good and yummy, every time when i think about Sasha’s doughnuts I wish to eat them they’re mouthwatering you keep asking more.”

Chido Mucheche believes that if you share knowledge you will become successful. She wants other young people and entrepreneurs not to hide their skills and knowledge, but they must share it with others on media platforms so that the world will know the creativity they have. She wishes to have sponsors as her dream is to have a bakery shop that hires more young people.
