Breaking Barriers: Khetha Halala Biyela’s Inspiring Journey to Becoming a Successful Chicken and Vegetable Farmer

Meet Khetha Halala Biyela, a 33-year-old chicken and vegetable farmer who is defying the odds to follow her dreams. Born and bred in the obscure O’Buka Reserve Debe area under Mthonjaneni Municipality, Khetha developed a love for farming at a young age. However, due to financial constraints, she was unable to start farming until 2021.
